Lalandia – Billund, Denmark

Lalandia – Billund, Denmark Indoor pool

In the mood for some Nordic adventure? Check out Lalandia, the biggest water park in Scandinavia, and one of the Best Water Parks in Europe. Featuring a selection of family-friendly slides, we especially love the Octopus ride! Our age does show though when the next highlight on our list about this park is the heated pools and the awesome lazy stream!

Turn this trip into an educational one too. Kids will adore the Cave Pool, where they can observe coral reefs and exotic fish. Not keen on the Octopus? Then this will certainly tickle your fancy; Parents craving relaxation can breathe easy in the aromatherapy saunas! Score! Let the kids enjoy the Aqua Splash water playground, the Monky Tonky indoor playland, or go bowling while you chill out.

There are also five smaller water slides for little water lovers. Bonus: Lalandia is located in Billund, where LEGOLAND is another huge family draw!

Water Park Splashworld – Avignon France

It is the first and largest water-themed park in France, situated in the Provence region, near Avignon, it can provide you with family rides, areas for younger children, different water slides, the largest lazy river in Europe, and also the biggest surf simulator in the world. This water park is open during the summer season (from June to September) and it is also suitable for people with disabilities.

How to reach Splash World Water Park?

Splashworld is situated 17 km from Avignon, which makes it easily accessible! Also, the closeness of the bus station that connects the water park with the train station of Avignon, makes it possible for those traveling by bus or train from other locations in France to reach Splashworld quickly!

Aqua-fun

15 of the 17 pools are open all year round and one of the large indoor pools is connected to a heated outdoor pool that is also open throughout the year. The wave pool and the surf pool evoke the atmosphere of seaside holidays. The surf pool is massive! It can be used with special boards developed for indoor use as well as with your own board.

Our Favorite Pick for Best Water Parks in Europe is: Water Park Caneva World, Italy

Lake Garda may be famous for its peace and tranquillity, but Caneva World really shakes things up.  This double whammy of a theme park is split between a Movieland and Acquapark.

Get close to the film action on Overdrive Live Set, hang onto your seats at the John Rambo Stunt Show, then suspend all disbelief at the Illusionist show. There are rides for all the family, from racing waters on the Kitt Super Jet, to the heady heights of the Hollywood Action Tower and the terrifying Diabolik Invertigo roller coaster.

Caneva Aquapark

If all that action gets a bit too hot, dive into Caneva Aquapark and stretch out under the palm trees, in the shadow of a great volcano! But with a great wave pool and amazing water slides like the Twin Peaks, Anaconda and Kamika there is plenty to tempt you off the beach.

The entertainment continues at the Medieval Times Restaurant & Show – seat yourself down in a medieval castle and get ready for knights, horses, and a great jousting tournament!
