Pescolanciano ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Isernia in der italienischen Region Molise, etwa 30 Kilometer nordwestlich von Campobasso und etwa 12 Kilometer nordöstlich von Isernia. Der Großraum der U-Bahn hat etwa 250.000 Einwohner und ist eines der städtischen Zentren in den Alpen. Bozen ist der Sitz der Freien Universität Bozen-Bozen, an der Vorträge und Seminare in Englisch, Deutsch und Italienisch gehalten werden. Die Stadt ist auch die Heimat des Alpini-Oberkommandos (COMALP) der italienischen Armee und einiger ihrer Kampf- und Unterstützungseinheiten.
