Neu! (deutsch als NEU! in Blockhauptstädten, deutsch: Neu!, ausgesprochen [nɔüss]) war eine deutsche Band, die 1971 in Düsseldorf von Klaus Dinger und Michael Rother nach ihrem Abschied von Kraftwerk gegründet wurde. Die Alben der Gruppe wurden von Conny Plank produziert, der als "verstecktes Mitglied" der Gruppe gilt. Sie veröffentlichten drei Alben in ihrer ersten Inkarnation - Neu! (1972), Neu! 2 (1973) und Neu! 75 (1975) - vor der Auflösung im Jahr 1975. Sie vereinigten sich Mitte der 1980er Jahre kurz wieder. Obwohl Neu! Die Band hatte während ihres Bestehens nur minimalen kommerziellen Erfolg und gilt rückwirkend als zentraler Akt der Krautrock-Bewegung der 1970er Jahre in Westdeutschland.
