Deinze ist eine Stadt und eine Gemeinde in der belgischen Provinz Ostflandern. Es umfasst die Städte Deinze und die Städte Astene, Bachte-Maria-Leerne, Gottem, Grammene, Meigem, Petegem-aan-de-Leie, Sint-Martens-Leerne, Vinkt, Wontergem und Zeveren. Am 1. Januar 2019 hatte Deinze eine Bevölkerung von 43.500. Die Gesamtfläche der Gemeinde beträgt 75,54 km2, was einer Bevölkerungsdichte von 375 Einwohnern pro km² entspricht. Am 1. Januar 2019 wurde die Gemeinde Nevele in Deinze zusammengelegt.
