Eemshaven ]; Englisch: Ems Harbour) ist ein Seehafen in der Provinz Groningen im Norden der Niederlande. 1968 erklärte die niederländische Regierung die Ems-Mündung (Eemsmond) zu einer wirtschaftlichen Schlüsselregion. Eeklo ist eine belgische Gemeinde in der flämischen Provinz Ostflandern. Die Gemeinde umfasst nur die eigentliche Stadt Eeklo. Der Name Eeklo stammt aus der Kontraktion von "eke" und "lo", zwei altdeutschen Wörtern, die Eiche und spärliche Hölzer bedeuten (vergleiche Englisch Oakley).
