Davos ist eine Alpenstadt und eine Gemeinde in der Region Prättigau / Davos im Kanton Graubünden, Schweiz. Es hat eine ständige Bevölkerung von 10.899 (2018). Davos liegt am Landwasser in den Rhätischen Alpen zwischen Plessur und Albula auf 1.560 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Das ehemalige alpine Feriendorf besteht aus zwei Teilen: Davos Dorf (wörtlich: "Davoser Dorf") im Nordosten in Richtung Klosters und weiter unten durch den Prättigau nach Landquart und Davos Platz (wörtlich: "Ort") im Südwesten, der sich öffnet ins Tal des Flusses Landwasser und führt schließlich nach Filisur. Während der Sommersaison führt der Flüela-Pass nach Südosten in das Unterengadin.
