Forbach (for-BAHK, Französisch: [fɔʁbak], Deutsch: [ˈfɔʁbax]; Lorraine Franconian: Fuerboch) ist eine Gemeinde im Departement Mosel im Nordosten der französischen Region Grand Est. Es liegt an der deutschen Grenze, etwa 15 Minuten vom Zentrum von Saarbrücken entfernt, mit dem es einen grenzüberschreitenden Ballungsraum darstellt, und ist Teil des Eurodistrikts Saar-Mosel. Von Drusus als römischer Militärposten gegründet. Sein Name stammt aus dem Lateinischen (ad) cōnfluentēs und bedeutet "(am) Zusammenfluss" der beiden Flüsse.
