Menfi ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Agrigento in der italienischen Region Sizilien, etwa 70 Kilometer südwestlich von Palermo und etwa 60 Kilometer nordwestlich von Agrigent. Es ist die Hauptstadt der Salentine Peninsula, einer Sub-Halbinsel an der Ferse der italienischen Halbinsel und über 2.000 Jahre alt. Aufgrund der reichen barocken Baudenkmäler in der Stadt wird Lecce allgemein als "Florenz des Südens" bezeichnet. Die Stadt hat auch eine lange traditionelle Affinität zur griechischen Kultur, die bis zu ihrer Gründung zurückreicht.
