Licata (italienisch: [liˈkaːta], sizilianisch: [lɪˈkaːta]; altgriechisch: Φιντίας, woher lateinisch: Phintias oder Plintis), früher auch Alicata, ist eine Stadt und Gemeinde an der Südküste Siziliens an der Mündung des Salso Fluss (die alte Himera), etwa auf halber Strecke zwischen Agrigento und Gela.
