Paestum war eine bedeutende antike griechische Stadt an der Küste des Tyrrhenischen Meeres in Magna Graecia (Süditalien). Die Ruinen von Paestum sind berühmt für ihre drei antiken griechischen Tempel im dorischen Orden von etwa 600 bis 450 v. Chr., Die sich in einem sehr guten Erhaltungszustand befinden.
