Die Stadt ist die größte im deutsch-niederfränkischen Dialektgebiet (eng verwandt mit Niederländisch). Remagen ist eine Stadt in Deutschland im Bundesland Rheinland-Pfalz im Landkreis Ahrweiler. Es ist ungefähr eine Autostunde von Köln entfernt, südlich von Bonn, der ehemaligen westdeutschen Hauptstadt. Es liegt am linken (westlichen) Ufer des Rheins.
