Corniglia ist ein Frazione in der Gemeinde Vernazza in der Provinz La Spezia, Ligurien, Norditalien, mit einer Bevölkerung von etwa 150 (im Jahr 2016). Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Orten der Cinque Terre liegt Corniglia nicht direkt am Meer. Stattdessen befindet es sich auf einem etwa 100 Meter hohen Vorgebirge, das an drei Seiten von Weinbergen und Terrassen umgeben ist. Die vierte Seite steigt steil zum Meer ab. Um Corniglia zu erreichen, muss man die Lardarina besteigen, eine lange gemauerte Treppe, die aus 33 Flügen mit 382 Stufen besteht, oder auf andere Weise einer Fahrzeugstraße folgen, die vom Bahnhof zum Dorf führt.
