Grizzana Morandi ist eine Gemeinde in der Metropole Bologna in der italienischen Region Emilia-Romagna, etwa 30 Kilometer südwestlich von Bologna. Die Stadt ist ein Sommerferienort in den Bergen zwischen den Tälern der Flüsse Reno und Setta. Ursprünglich einfach Grizzana, erhielt es 1985 das "Morandi" als Honorar für den 1964 verstorbenen italienischen Maler Giorgio Morandi. Morandi reiste selten von seinem Haus und Atelier in Bologna aus, besuchte aber ab 1913 jedes Jahr Grizzana für einen Sommerurlaub Zeit, und viele seiner Landschaftsbilder sind von der Stadt und ihrer unmittelbaren Umgebung. Die Stadt beherbergt auch ein Dokumentationszentrum über ihn (Centro di documentazione Giorgio Morandi), das eine Sammlung von Dokumenten über den Maler und die lokale Geschichte enthält.
