Savona (italienisch: [saˈvoːna]; lokal ligurisch: Sann-a [ˈsaŋˑa], genuesisch: Savonn-a) ist ein Seehafen und eine Gemeinde im westlichen Teil der norditalienischen Region Ligurien, der Hauptstadt der Provinz Savona in der Riviera di Ponente am Mittelmeer. Savona war früher einer der Hauptsitze der italienischen Eisenindustrie mit Eisenhütten und Gießereien, Schiffbau, Eisenbahnwerkstätten, Maschinengeschäften und einer Messinggießerei. Einer der berühmtesten ehemaligen Einwohner von Savona war der Seefahrer Christoph Kolumbus, der während seiner Reise Land in der Gegend bewirtschaftete.
