Caulonia ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Reggio Calabria in der italienischen Region Kalabrien, etwa 60 Kilometer südwestlich von Catanzaro und etwa 120 Kilometer nordöstlich von Reggio Calabria in der Stilaro-Tal. Ursprünglich war es als Castelvetere bekannt, aber 1862 beschlossen die Bürger, den Namen der Stadt in den Namen der antiken Stadt Caulonia zu ändern.
