Ferno ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Varese in der italienischen Region Lombardei, etwa 40 km nordwestlich von Mailand und etwa 35 km südlich von Varese. Zum 31. Dezember 2017 hatte es eine Bevölkerung von 6.858 und eine Fläche von 8,5 km². Die Gemeinde Ferno enthält die Frazione (Unterteilung) San Macario. Ferno grenzt an folgende Gemeinden: Lonate Pozzolo, Samarate, Somma Lombardo, Vizzola Ticino.
