Masserano ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Biella in der italienischen Region Piemont, etwa 70 Kilometer nordöstlich von Turin und etwa 12 Kilometer nordöstlich von Biella. Zum 31. Im Jahr 2018 lebten 260.897 Menschen in der Comune di Venezia, von denen rund 55.000 in der historischen Stadt Venedig (centro storico) leben. Zusammen mit Padua und Treviso gehört die Stadt zur Metropolregion Padua-Treviso-Venedig (PATREVE), die als statistische Metropolregion mit einer Gesamtbevölkerung von 2,6 Millionen gilt.
