Cozzo ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Pavia in der italienischen Region Lombardei, etwa 50 km südwestlich von Mailand und etwa 40 km westlich von Pavia. Zum 31. Die Inseln befinden sich in der flachen Lagune von Venedig, einer geschlossenen Bucht, die zwischen den Mündungen des Po und des Piave liegt (genauer gesagt zwischen Brenta und Sile). Im Jahr 2018 lebten 260.897 Menschen in der Comune di Venezia, von denen rund 55.000 in der historischen Stadt Venedig (centro storico) leben. Zusammen mit Padua und Treviso gehört die Stadt zur Metropolregion Padua-Treviso-Venedig (PATREVE), die als statistische Metropolregion mit einer Gesamtbevölkerung von 2,6 Millionen gilt.
