Orta, ehemals Kar-i Pazar, ist eine Stadt und ein Bezirk der Provinz Çankırı in der türkischen Schwarzmeerregion. Der Name Kar-i Pazar bedeutet Land, in dem die Bücher geschrieben und gelesen werden. Orta liegt geografisch an der Grenze zwischen dem Schwarzen Meer und Zentralanatolien. Der Distrikt bleibt im Wesentlichen das gesamte Land zwischen dem Berg Aydos (Aetos (Adler)), der die gesamte südliche Grenze des Distrikts abdeckt und alle östlichen und nordöstlichen Grenzen mit den Bergen des Mont Sani und des Dumanli-Berges sowie des Elden-Berges und des Karasivri zieht Berg im Norden. Inmitten all dieser Berge hat sich mit Hilfe des Flusses Devrez ein 15 km breites und 30 km langes Tiefland gebildet.
