Saletto ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Padua in der italienischen Region Venetien, etwa 70 Kilometer südwestlich von Venedig und etwa 35 Kilometer südwestlich von Padua. Zum 31. Dezember 2004 hatte es eine Bevölkerung von 2.659 und eine Fläche von 10,8 Quadratkilometern. Saletto grenzt an folgende Gemeinden: Megliadino San Fidenzio, Montagnana, Noventa Vicentina, Ospedaletto Euganeo, Poiana Maggiore, Santa Margherita d ' Etsch.

Im Jahr 2018 lebten 260.897 Menschen in der Comune di Venezia, von denen rund 55.000 in der historischen Stadt Venedig (centro storico) leben. Zusammen mit Padua und Treviso gehört die Stadt zur Metropolregion Padua-Treviso-Venedig (PATREVE), die als statistische Metropolregion mit einer Gesamtbevölkerung von 2,6 Millionen gilt.
