Wädenswil, lokal oft Wädi oder Wädischwil genannt, ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Horgen im Kanton Zürich in der Schweiz. Die Bevölkerung (Stand 2013) betrug ca. 21.000. Am 1. Januar 2019 fusionierten die ehemaligen Gemeinden Hütten und Schönenberg zur Gemeinde Wädenswil.

Zug ist die Hauptstadt und größte Stadt des Kantons Zug in der Schweiz. Sein Name stammt aus dem Fischereivokabular; im Mittelalter bezog es sich auf das Recht, Fischernetze hochzuziehen und damit auf das Recht, zu fischen. Als Gemeinde hatte sie zum 31. Dezember 2018 eine Gesamtbevölkerung von 30.542 Einwohnern.
