Resana is a comune in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Venice and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Treviso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,186 and an area of 25.0 square kilometres (9.7 sq mi).The municipality of Resana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Castelminio and San Marco. Castelminio used to be known as Brusaporco. Resana borders the following municipalities: Castelfranco Veneto, Loreggia, Piombino Dese, Vedelago.
