Tilburg x]) is a city in the Netherlands, in the southern province of North Brabant. With a population of 217,595 (31 January 2019), it is the second-largest municipality in North Brabant, and the sixth largest in the Netherlands. Tilburg University is located in Tilburg, as are Avans University of Applied Sciences and Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Tilburg is known for its ten-day-long funfair, held in July each year.
