Roeselare (pronunciación holandesa: [ˈrusəlaːrə], francés: Roulers, flamenco occidental: Roeseloare) es una ciudad y municipio belga en la provincia flamenca de Flandes Occidental. El municipio comprende la ciudad de Roeselare propiamente dicha y las ciudades de Beveren, Oekene y Rumbeke. El nombre de la ciudad se deriva de dos palabras germánicas que significan "caña" y "espacio abierto", es decir, un pantano en un claro del bosque. El seminario menor de Roeselare es famoso por haber acogido a los famosos poetas flamencos Guido Gezelle, Albrecht Rodenbach y el misionero jesuita Constant Lievens.
