Mendrisio es un municipio en el distrito de Mendrisio en el cantón de Ticino en Suiza. Mendrisio es la sede de la Academia de Arquitectura de la universidad de Suiza de habla italiana (USI). El municipio aumentó de tamaño el 4 de abril de 2004 cuando incorporó el antiguo municipio de Salorino.
