Bellano es una comuna y una pequeña ciudad en la orilla oriental del lago de Como en la provincia de Lecco en la región italiana de Lombardía, ubicada en la salida norte de la Valsassina. La atracción principal de la ciudad es el Orrido ("desfiladero" o pequeño cañón) que se formó a través de la erosión del río Pioverna. La erosión comenzó hace 15 millones de años. La iglesia de la ciudad se llama Santi Nazario e Celso (construida en 1348) y tiene un estilo gótico. Bellano es el lugar de la mayoría de las novelas del escritor local Andrea Vitali y el lugar de nacimiento del escritor y poeta del siglo XVII Sigismondo Boldoni.
