Rostock oficialmente la ciudad hanseática de Rostock (alemán: Hansestadt Rostock), es la ciudad más grande del estado federal alemán de Mecklemburgo-Pomerania Occidental y se encuentra en la parte del estado de Mecklemburgo, Cerca de la frontera con Pomerania.
