Marienborn es una aldea y un municipio anterior en el distrito de Börde en Sajonia-Anhalt, Alemania. Desde el 1 de enero de 2010, forma parte del municipio de Sommersdorf. Se trata de unos 27 km (17 millas) al suroeste de Haldensleben. El centro de peregrinación histórico cerca de la antigua frontera interior alemana es conocido por el cruce fronterizo Helmstedt-Marienborn conservado, ahora un sitio conmemorativo. En 1191 Wichmann von Seeburg, entonces arzobispo de Magdeburgo, estableció un asilo en el lugar de una aparición de la Virgen María y un manantial (nacido) con aguas curativas, que durante el siglo XIII se convirtió en un monasterio para monjas agustinas.
