Bilzen es una ciudad y un municipio ubicados en la provincia belga de Limburgo. El 1 de enero de 2006, Bilzen tenía una población total de 30.057. El área total es de 75.90 km², lo que da una densidad de población de 396 habitantes por km². Bilzen consiste en la ciudad de Bilzen y los siguientes pueblos: Beverst, Eigenbilzen, Grote-Spouwen, Hees, Hoelbeek, Kleine-Spouwen, Martenslinde, Mopertingen, Munsterbilzen, Rijkhoven, Rosmeer y Waltwilder. Fue en 1977 que todos se convirtieron en parte del municipio Bilzen debido a la fusión de los municipios.
