Cropani es una comuna y ciudad en la provincia de Catanzaro en la región italiana de Calabria. La comuna se encuentra a 10 km del mar y a 13 km del Sila. Dos fracciones son parte del territorio municipal: Cropani Marina y Cuturella. Según la tradición, el barco que transportaba las reliquias de Mark the Evangelist de Alejandría a Venecia encontró refugio en las costas de Cropani. En agradecimiento, el capitán le dio a la ciudad una reliquia (un fragmento de una rótula) conservada en su catedral románica.
