Amay es un municipio belga ubicado en la provincia valona de Lieja. El 1 de enero de 2006, Amay tenía una población total de aproximadamente 14.231. El área total es de 27.61 km2, lo que da una densidad de población de aproximadamente 476 habitantes por km2. Debe su sitio a un vado del Mosa que todavía estaba en uso en la Edad Media, pero que comenzó como un vicus galorromano de la civitas Tungrorum (Tongeren).
