Certaldo es una ciudad y comuna de la Toscana, Italia, en la ciudad metropolitana de Florencia, en el centro de Valdelsa. Está a unos 35 kilómetros (22 millas) al suroeste del Duomo de Florencia, a 50 minutos en tren y 35 minutos en coche al suroeste de Florencia, y a 40 minutos en tren al norte de Siena. Fue el hogar de la familia de Giovanni Boccaccio, autor del Decamerón. Murió en su casa dentro de la ciudad y fue enterrado aquí en 1375. El actor Ernesto Calindri también nació en Certaldo.
