Corniglia es una frazione dentro de la comuna de Vernazza en la provincia de La Spezia, Liguria, norte de Italia con una población de aproximadamente 150 (en 2016). A diferencia de otras localidades de Cinque Terre, Corniglia no está directamente adyacente al mar. En cambio, está en la cima de un promontorio de unos 100 metros de altura, rodeado por tres lados por viñedos y terrazas, el cuarto lado desciende abruptamente hacia el mar. Para llegar a Corniglia, es necesario subir la Lardarina, un largo tramo de ladrillos compuesto por 33 vuelos con 382 escalones o, de lo contrario, seguir una carretera vehicular que, desde la estación, conduce al pueblo. A veces corre un pequeño autobús.
