Assesse es un municipio belga ubicado en la provincia valona de Namur. Se compone de los pueblos de Assesse, Courrière, Crupet, Florée, Maillen, Sart-Bernard y Sorinne-la-Longue. El 1 de enero de 2006, Assesse tenía una población total de 6.252. El área total es de 78.16 km², lo que da una densidad de población de 80 habitantes por km². Eupen y francés anteriormente conocido como Néau en francés), es una ciudad y municipio en la provincia belga de Lieja, a 15 kilómetros (9 millas) de la frontera alemana (Aachen ), de la frontera holandesa (Maastricht) y de la reserva natural "High Fens" (Ardenas).
