Vergato es una comuna en la Ciudad Metropolitana de Bolonia en la región italiana de Emilia-Romaña, ubicada a unos 40 kilómetros (25 millas) al suroeste de Bolonia. Vergato limita con los siguientes municipios: Castel d'Aiano, Gaggio Montano, Grizzana Morandi, Marzabotto, Valsamoggia, Zocca.
