Cesenatico es una ciudad portuaria con unos 26,000 habitantes en la costa adriática de Italia. Se encuentra en la provincia de Forlì-Cesena en la región de Emilia-Romaña, a unos 30 kilómetros (19 millas) al sur de Rávena. El canal del puerto de Cesenatico fue inspeccionado y dibujado por Leonardo da Vinci a pedido de Cesare Borgia, como parte de sus planes para fortificar la cercana ciudad de Cesena.
