Pontremoli (italiano: [ponˈtrɛːmoli]; local Emilian: Pontrémal; latín: Apua) es una pequeña ciudad, comuna, ex obispado católico latino en la provincia de Massa y Carrara, región de Toscana, Italia central. Literalmente traducido, Pontremoli significa "Puente tembloroso" (de ponte "puente" y tremare "temblar"), ya que la comuna lleva el nombre de un puente prominente que cruza el Magra. Pontremoli está en el valle superior del Magra, 40 kilómetros (25 mi) al noreste de La Spezia por ferrocarril y 90 kilómetros (56 mi) al sur-suroeste de Parma.

Lecco (EE. UU .: italiano: [ˈlekko], localmente [ˈlɛkko]; Lecchese: Lècch [ˈlɛk]) es una ciudad de 48,131 habitantes en Lombardía, norte de Italia, a 50 kilómetros (31 millas) al norte de Milán, la capital de la provincia de Lecco Se encuentra al final de la rama sureste del lago de Como (la rama llamada Lago de Lecco / Lago di Lecco). Los Alpes de Bérgamo se elevan hacia el norte y el este, atravesados por la Valsassina, de la cual Lecco marca el extremo sur.
