Sulmona (Abruzzese: Sulmóne; latín: Sulmo; griego antiguo: Σουλμῶν, romanizado: Soulmôn) es una ciudad y comuna de la provincia de L'Aquila en Abruzzo, Italia. Lecco (EE. Los Alpes de Bérgamo se elevan hacia el norte y el este, atravesados por la Valsassina, de la cual Lecco marca el extremo sur.
