Lecco (EE. UU .: italiano: [ˈlekko], localmente [ˈlɛkko]; Lecchese: Lècch [ˈlɛk]) es una ciudad de 48,131 habitantes en Lombardía, norte de Italia, a 50 kilómetros (31 millas) al norte de Milán, la capital de la provincia de Lecco Se encuentra al final de la rama sureste del lago de Como (la rama llamada Lago de Lecco / Lago di Lecco). Los Alpes de Bérgamo se elevan hacia el norte y el este, atravesados por la Valsassina, de la cual Lecco marca el extremo sur. El lago se estrecha para formar el río Adda, por lo que se construyeron puentes para mejorar las comunicaciones por carretera con Como y Milán. Hay cuatro puentes que cruzan el río Adda en Lecco: el puente Azzone Visconti (1336–1338), el puente Kennedy (1956) y el puente Alessandro Manzoni (1985) y un puente ferroviario.
