Malinas ], francés: Malines, nombre tradicional inglés: Mechlin) es una ciudad y municipio de la provincia de Amberes en la región flamenca de Bélgica. El municipio comprende la ciudad de Malinas propiamente dicha, algunos barrios en sus alrededores, las aldeas de Nekkerspoel (adyacentes) y Battel (a pocos kilómetros de distancia), así como los pueblos de Walem, Heffen, Leest, Hombeek y Muizen. El Dyle (holandés: Dijle) fluye a través de la ciudad, por lo tanto, a menudo se lo conoce como Dijlestad ("Ciudad en el río Dijle").
