Altamura (en italiano: [ˌaltaˈmuːra]; Barese: Ialtamùre) es una ciudad y comuna de Apulia, en el sur de Italia. Se encuentra en una de las colinas de la meseta de Murge en la ciudad metropolitana de Bari, a 45 kilómetros (28 millas) al suroeste de Bari, cerca de la frontera con Basilicata.
