Varenna (Comasco, Lecchese: Varena) es una comuna (municipio) en el lago de Como en la provincia de Lecco en la región italiana de Lombardía, ubicada a unos 60 kilómetros (37 millas) al norte de Milán y a unos 20 kilómetros (12 millas) al noroeste de Lecco . Varenna fue fundada por pescadores locales en 769, y más tarde se alió con la comuna de Milán.
