Modica [ˈmɔːdika] (siciliano: Muòrica, griego: Μότουκα, Motouka, latín: Mutyca o Motyca) es una ciudad y comuna de 54.456 habitantes en la provincia de Ragusa, Sicilia, sur de Italia. Reconstruida tras el devastador terremoto de 1693, su arquitectura ha sido reconocida como un testimonio excepcional del genio exuberante y el florecimiento final del arte barroco en Europa y, junto con otras ciudades en Val di Noto, forma parte del Patrimonio de la UNESCO en Italia.
