Porretta Terme es una ciudad de los Apeninos Toscano-Emilianos del Valle de Reno, una frazione de la comuna de Alto Reno Terme, Emilia-Romaña. Porretta Terme se encuentra a unos 60 kilómetros (37 millas) al suroeste de Bolonia. Conocido desde la época romana por sus aguas termales, también es un centro de deportes de invierno gracias a los centros turísticos cercanos de Corno alle Scale, Abetone, Monte Cimone. Era una comuna separada hasta enero de 2016, cuando se fusionó con Granaglione para formar la nueva comuna de Alto Reno Terme. Durante la campaña de Italia en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Porretta albergó la sede de la primera división del ejército brasileño entre noviembre de 1944 y el avance final de la línea gótica.
