Aviñón (Reino Unido, EE. UU .: francés: [aviɲɔ̃]; provenzal: Avinhon (norma clásica) o Avignoun (norma de Mistralia) [aviˈɲun]; latín: Avenio) es una comuna en el sureste de Francia en el departamento de Vaucluse en el margen izquierda del río Ródano.
