Polesella es una comuna en la provincia de Rovigo en la región italiana de Veneto, ubicada a unos 70 kilómetros (43 millas) al suroeste de Venecia y a unos 11 km (7 millas) al sur de Rovigo. Polesella limita con los siguientes municipios: Arquà Polesine, Bosaro, Canaro, Frassinelle Polesine, Guarda Veneta, Ro. En 1509 fue el lugar de la batalla homónima entre la flota veneciana y las tropas de Ferrara. La ciudad es el hogar del Palazzo Grimani, una residencia patricia del siglo XVI atribuida a Vincenzo Scamozzi y la Villa Morosini (siglos XVI-XVII).
