Bollate es una comuna en la Ciudad Metropolitana de Milán en la región italiana de Lombardía, ubicada a unos 10 kilómetros (6 millas) al noroeste de Milán. Al 30 de noviembre de 2017, tenía una población de 36,488. Bollate limita con los siguientes municipios: Paderno Dugnano, Senago, Garbagnate Milanese, Arese, Cormano, Novate Milanese, Baranzate, Milan. Bollate recibió el título honorífico de ciudad con un decreto presidencial el 11 de octubre de 1984. Es servido por la estación de tren Bollate Centro y la estación de tren Bollate Nord.
