Alcamo (siciliano: Àrcamu) es la cuarta ciudad más grande de la provincia de Trapani en Sicilia, con una población de 45.374 habitantes. Está en el límite con la Ciudad Metropolitana de Palermo a una distancia de unos 50 kilómetros de Palermo y Trapani. Hoy en día, el territorio de la ciudad incluye un área de 130,79 kilómetros cuadrados y es el segundo municipio en cuanto a densidad de población en la provincia de Trapani, después de Erice. Alcamo está delimitado por el Mar Tirreno en el norte, Balestrate y Partinico en el este, Camporeale en el sur y Calatafimi-Segesta y Castellammare del Golfo en el oeste. Su aldea más importante es Alcamo Marina, a unos 6 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad.
