Orta, anteriormente Kar-i pazar, es una ciudad y distrito de la provincia de Çankırı en la región del Mar Negro en Turquía. El nombre de Kar-i Pazar significa tierra donde se escriben y leen los libros. Orta se encuentra geográficamente en la frontera de las regiones del Mar Negro y Anatolia Central. El distrito básicamente permanece en todas las tierras entre la montaña Aydos (Aetos (águila)) que cubre toda la frontera sur del distrito y se extiende dibujando todas las fronteras orientales y nororientales con las montañas de Mont Sani y Dumanli Mount; y Elden Mount y Karasivri Monte en el norte.
