L'activité sportive la plus connue et la plus visible à Orio est la régate d'aviron typique de la zone côtière basque et cantabrique, avec une équipe représentée par la couleur jaune. La ville est desservie par la ligne côtière d'Euskotren, la route N-634 et l'autoroute A-8 (depuis 2010).

Alassio est une ville et une commune de la province de Savone située sur la côte ouest de la Ligurie, dans le nord de l'Italie, à environ 80 kilomètres (50 miles) de la frontière française.
